Our Story
Dave's Donut Den began with a simple idea: take the donuts we grew up loving and turn them into something special enough to plan your morning around. Dave started testing recipes at home — tweaking dough, glazes, and fillings — until friends and neighbors began “stopping by” at suspiciously early hours.
Those early-morning kitchen experiments turned into our first shop in Fairport, NY. What started as a tiny spot with a few trays of donuts and a well-loved coffee maker quickly became a neighborhood hangout where people caught up before work, grabbed a dozen for the office, or treated their kids after school.
Today, that same spirit lives on in every location: keep it fresh, keep it friendly, and never underestimate the power of a really good donut.
From Fairport to Boston
Rooted in Fairport
Our original shop at Village Landing is where we learned what our community loves: early hours for commuters, weekend boxes for families, and plenty of options for “just one more” donut.
Boston, Here We Come
Opening on Washington Street in Boston lets us bring those same small-town vibes to a busy city block — warm donuts, strong coffee, and a counter where we actually remember your usual.
Same Heart, New Neighborhoods
No matter where we open next, the goal is the same: be the kind of place where people feel comfortable lingering for a second cup and a second donut.
How We Bake & Brew
Thoughtful Ingredients
We focus on simple, quality ingredients — real butter, fresh eggs, and glazes made in-house. Our dough is mixed and proofed daily, never shipped in frozen.
Local Coffee Partners
Our coffee is roasted in small batches by local partners, so it tastes bright, balanced, and made for dunking. We dial in our brews every morning.
Giving Back
Extra donuts don’t go to waste — we regularly donate leftovers to local organizations and events. If you’re planning a fundraiser or community project, we’d love to hear from you.
